Very much in the news at the moment is the payroll hack suffered by BA, BBC, Boots and Aer Lingus amongst others.

ABAP has been in touch with BA Pensions who have confirmed that the systems involved in the hack (Zellis and MOVEit) are not used by BA Pensions.
This means that the disclosure of personal information has not affected APS and NAPS pensioner members. However, those still working at BA may be affected. We understand that BA is providing staff with a year’s membership of Experian Identity Plus, an identity theft & fraud protection and monitoring product.
Nevertheless, we recommend members to be wary of any suspicious emails. If in doubt, refer back to the sending organisation.
