ABAP Membership Portal – New Member Set Up

From the ABAP web site select the “Membership Portal” button at the top of any page or press “Join Us Now” from the home page.

On the next screen select the option to “Create account for Association of British Airways Pensioners”, and then “Continue” on the next page.

You can then optionally use Facebook or Google details or select “Sign up with email”.

Then add your personal details on the next screen. Phone numbers are optional. UK addresses are entered by typing the address in the Address field and it will autofill. For worldwide addresses please use the option to “Edit address manually”

You can optionally select to allow other members to find you in the Membership directory by selecting the tick box.

Press “Continue” and you will be invited to “Add Membership”

From the drop down select the appropriate membership for your status / pension and press “Add Membership”. You will note that our membership year runs from 1st July to 30th June so all memberships are set to end on 30th June.

Then press “Continue”

Then add your remaining details:

  • Your BA staff number
  • Title
  • The pension scheme(s) you are a member of
  • Pensioner status
  • Your willingness to give time to support our work
  • Communication preference

And press “Continue”

You will then be prompted to set up a password for your new account.

You can then pay securely for your membership by card and press “Continue” or select “Pay Later” to pay later online or pay by bank transfer.

Please include your staff number as reference for any payments.

Finally on the Confirmation screen press “Sign Up” to complete the process. You can then sign in to your new account.
