I would like to welcome you to our new website. This is an exciting development for ABAP, giving us a modern site designed to work on PCs, laptops, tablets and smart phones. It’s also been designed with accessibility in mind so I would very much like to hear your experiences using the site. Just drop an email to chair@abaponline.org
We are now in the renewal season for ABAP so I welcome your continued support for the association. Shortly, we will be sending out renewal reminders by email and by post to those who are not yet on email.
We are sorely in need of members willing to serve on the ABAP committee. In particular, we need a new secretary and a new treasurer. If you would like to know more about what’s involved, please get in touch and we can discuss further. ABAP is totally reliant on volunteers to keep the Association running.
Just prior to the corona virus lockdown, ABAP was invited to participate in discussions regarding the reshaping of the APS Trustee Board. This recognised our position as the only organised body that represents BA pensioners. I intend this dialogue with the APS Trustee to continue and would very much like the same to happen with NAPS. For our part, we pledge to monitor and report on BA pensions in these very challenging and uncertain times.
